During the graduation in the university, Carsten Hermann developed the idea of a projector based MultiTouch Table. With the help of his father Matthias Hermann, they build the first table, made from wood, in the parents house' garage in Raguhn-Jessnitz.

Company Foundation

Started as a graduation project in the university, Carsten and Matthias Hermann decided to take it on a professional level and form a company to develop and produce industrial-grade MultiTouch Monitors under the name MyMultiTouch GbR.

2010

Business starts growing

2010

After many months of development, MMT started to achieve the first remarkable sales success. While mostly universities approached MMT to build interactive devices, by the end of 2010 the first orders for professional clients were fulfilled. By this time, MMT was still operating from the parents house' garage.

2011

Move into the first production facility

2011

MMT is moving it's production into a professional space in Raguhn-Jessnitz, Germany. With around 1000sqm, this facility gives room to build up better manufacturing processes, store components and work on further developments.

2012

CeBIT - here we come!

2012

In 2012, MMT started to exhibit it's innovative products at trade shows for the first time. Starting with the CeBIT in Hannover Germany, MMT was soon seen on the ISE Amsterdam, EuroShop Düsseldorf and many more national and international fairs.

World's first 84" MultiTouch table

2013

During the Integrated Systems Europe trade show in 2013, MMT presented in Amsterdam the first 84" MultiTouch Table on the market. Called "AVR GIANT", the massive touch table featured a 4K resolution and up to 40 touch points at the same time.

Forming the corporation of MMT

2013

The former company MyMultiTouch GbR transitions into a professional corporation (GmbH) in the name of MMT - Manufacturing Methods & Technology.

Release of MultiTouch Walls

2013

MMT designs and manufactures the first MultiTouch Wall with a size of 199". Based on this project, a full product line of interactive video walls started to conquer the market for large-size interaction spaces.

HYPEBOX® hits the market

2013

A year full of innovation! In 2013, MMT finished the development of the first generation of HYPEBOX® Transparent Display Showcases. The first HYPEBOX® hit the AV market and many more came afterwards to serve clients in exhibition and retail spaces.

Opening Berlin Office

2013

In 2013, MMT opened up a Berlin Office to have a more central location to demo products and meet international clients. Berlin serves as the perfect spot in Germany / Europe to bring the company on the next level in the AV industry.
